Water problem closes a Londonderry Fire Station


LONDONDERRY, NH

Londonderry Fire Departments Station 2 has been temporarily closed due to a failure in the building’s water system.  According to Town Officials all personnel and apparatus have been relocated to Central Station to maintain uninterrupted emergency response coverage for the community.

In a press release Professional Fire Fighters of Londonderry Local 3160 noted that the situation highlights the real impact that aging infrastructure and deferred maintenance can have on public safety and working conditions for local firefighters.
