Salem Police search for suspect that’s been rummaging through vehicles

SALEM, N.H. – Police are asking for the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate an individual seen on security footage rummaging through cars early Monday morning around 3 a.m.

According to Police the person on camera appeared to be opening doors around 3 a.m. that were unlocked.

Police believe the suspect is a white male, in their late teens or 20’s, about 5’7″.

Those residents who live in the area of Shepard Ave, Cole St and Garrison Rd are being asked to check their cameras between2:30 a.m.–3:00 a.m.

As the investigation continues, anyone who discovers anything of note is encouraged to contact Salem Police.
