Disruption at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard caused by major water leak


PORTSMOUTH, NH – 

Officials at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard are dealing with a significant water leak which is causing disruptions for nearby residents and workers.

According to published reports the leak was first noticed on April 19th (Sunday).  Officials have isolated the leak and are working to identify its source.

Currently the shipyard is limiting some industrial operations and allowing eligible employees to work remotely to reduce water demand and ensure safety.
