Police investigate stabbing near Manchester’s Victory Park

MANCHESTER, N.H.- Police say an investigation is underway following a stabbing Friday night near Victory Park.

According to investigators the victim was walking near Pine and Amherst streets when he was approached by another man and stabbed twice.

From there the victim was able to escape and return to his home on Walnut Street and called a neighbor for help.

Police say the man’s injuries aren’t considered life-threating.
