Manchester man charged with shooting Public Works Employees

MANCHESTER,N.H.- Authorities say an arrest has been made and two Public Works employees are recovering after they were shot Thursday moring.

According to Police Sean Day,32, is facing two counts of First-degree assault for allegedly walking up to the men on Union Street, pulled a gun and opened fire hitting both men with a single shot, leaving the pair with non-life-threating injuries.

Following a brief search of the area police were able to locate Day at an undisclosed business and took him into custody without incident.

As for a motive behind Day’s actions, Police say that’s part of an ongoing investigation.
