Pinkerton Academy evacuated after phone threat

DERRY, N.H.- Derry Police report a threat made against Pinkerton Academy Wednesday did not appear to be credible, However, the campus was evacuated and students were dismissed early in response to the possible threat.

According to the administration, the school received a phone call early Wednesday claiming that two-armed individuals were on campus and that multiple explosives had been placed on school grounds.

State Police searched the school for several hours and did not find any suspicious devices.
