MANCHESTER,N.H.- Federal authorities say offices in New Hampshire were among those nationwide who received letters containing “suspicious substances”

On Thursday the Attorney General’s office confrimed that letters had been sent to offices here in the Granite State, but has yet to identify exactly which offices were targeted.

When pressed for additonal details state officials said they’re now woking on the matter with the FBI.

The news comes as after authorities said suspicious packages containing a powdery substance led to the evacuation this week of election offices in Louisiana and Oklahoma, while the Ohio’s Secretary of State said the Postal Service intercepted a package containing a white powder intended for its office.

The National Association of Secretaries of State and the National Association of State Election Directors issued a joint statement condemning what they called threats against election staff.
