Manchester Police arrest a suspect following early-morning carjakcing

MANCHESTER NH

Police in Manchester were able to quickly apprehend a suspect who had reportedly been involved in a carjacking early Friday morning outside of the Walmart in Manchester.

Police reported the incident occurred shortly after 7:00 a.m. when the vehicle’s owner arrived at the store to pick up his brother. According to the victim, a man approached the car, initially leading the driver to believe it was his brother. The suspect then threatened to kill the driver unless he handed over the vehicle.

The suspect fled the scene, neither the driver nor his brother were injured during the encounter.

Manchester Police have not yet released the identity of the suspect or the specific charges being filed.
