Hooksett woman charged after crashing vehicle into pond

MANCHESTER, N.H.- Police say a Hooksett woman has been charged with driving under the influence after her vehicle wound up in Stevens Pond Monday afternoon.

According to Police around 5:10 p.m. First responders arrived on scene an found two people trapped in a vehicle who they ended up freeing.

Once freed police took Amy Iqbal,50, into custody and charged her with driving under the influence.

Police note that Iqbal’s passenger was not injured during the crash.
