Climber rescued from Cannon Cliff in Franconia

FRANCONIA N.H.- New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say crews ended up rescuing an injured climber on Cannon Cliff Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say Eric Johansson,65, of Maine was injured when a rock he was climbing was dislodged from the cliff causing him to fall.

Johansson, who is an experienced climber was transported to Littleton Regional Hospital for medical treatment.
