Building Fire in Winchester prompts multi state response

WINCHESTER N.H.- Firefighters from New Hampshire and Massachusetts responded Tuesday afternoon to a report of a fire on the deck of a home at 66 Richmond Road.

Upon arrival of Winchester Fire fighters struck a 2nd alarm followed by a 3rd alarm which brought in mutual aid from several area New Hampshire communities and Massachusetts departments as well.

According to officials the Warwick MA Fire Department covered the Winchester Station. Hinsdale NH Fire Dept Swanzey Fire Department Richmond Fire Department Northfield,MA all responded to the scene. Winchester Ambulance stood by during the incident. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation
