Portsmouth man arrested in Maine woman’s death more than 30 years later

PORTSMOUTH N.H. – Daniel Jolly, 59, of Portsmouth was arrested Thursday in connection with the 1993 killing of Maxine Bitomski,73, of Kittery, Maine.

Family members found Bitomski dead in her Colonial Road home on Jan. 16, 1993.

The Maine medical examiner’s office ruled her death a homicide. According to Police, Jolly apparently knew Bitomski through his job.
