MANCHESTER, N.H- William Kelly,40, the Ossipee man found guilty of murdering his girlfriend and unborn child back in 2023 will spend the next 40 years in prison.

Appearing emotionless in court Monday Kelly was sentenced to two consecutive sentences of 40 years to life.

When asked for leniency the judge overseeing the hearing rejected the defense’s request, saying he felt the sentences were fitting for the two distinct crimes.

The sentence comes after Kelly was found guilty of murdering Christine Falzone and her unborn child, who prosecutors say had 100 bruises, five rib fractures and internal bleeding in her head and abdomen, all while visibly pregnant.

Prosectors also note that Kelly portrayed himself as a victim and tried to shift the blame when first responders arrived at their home and saying Falzone was responsible for her own death.
