Man arrested following violent struggle near Nashua Public Library

NASHUA, N.H.- Police say Daniel Kalinowski, 42, of Nashua was arrested Tuesday following a verbal dispute behind the Nashua Public Library that escalated into a violent physical struggle.

According to investigators, when officers responded to the area Kalinowski immediately began to fight with the officers.

During the struggle, police say he attempted to jump down an embankment leading into the Nashua River.

Authorities stated that Kalinowski’s reckless actions during the physical altercation placed both officers at risk of serious bodily injury.

Kalinowski is now facing multiple charges including two counts of second-degree assault
