MANCHESTER, N.H.- Authorities say a former nursing assistant who worked at Elliot Hospital is facing new charges, claiming that he sexually assaulted children in both Strafford and Rockingham counties.
According to court documents, Alexander Colbath,25, was recently indicted by grand juries in both counties for crimes that allegedly began in late 2022 and lasted to 2026, which took place in Salem, Nottingham and Rochester that involved multiple victims, one of which was just 2-years old at the time of the assault.
According to the incitements Colbath is facing a number of charges ranging from aggravated sexual felonious assault, manufacturing of child sexual abuse images, felonious sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and misdemeanor violation of privacy.
Colbath is currently being held at the Merrimack County Jail after he was arrested last year and charged with assaulting an 8-year-old who was receiving treatment at Elliot Hospital after a surgery and on an unrelated charge out of an investigation into his time as a babysitter in Concord.
