DOT Crews begin work on Bedford Toll Plaza

MANCHESTER,N.H.- Crews from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation are scheduled to begin construction Monday night on the former Bedford toll plaza equipment.

According to officials crews are scheduled to begin work at 7p.m.

Ahead of the closure, officials are informing drivers to pay attention as there will be alternating lane closures along the Everett Turnpike in Bedford on both the northbound and southbound sides

With the hope of helping motorists DOT says drivers will be guided with signs and traffic cones to the open lanes of the roadway where they will proceed through E-ZPass lanes.

Transportation officials say the work is expected to last until 5 a.m. Tuesday.
