MANCHESTER, N.H.- The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office has cleared Officer Justin Ketcham, after he was accused of using excessive force during a recent arrest which was caught on video and posted on a number of social media sites.

According to officials an investigation concluded that Officer Ketcham did not use excessive force during the arrest of Gary Miller back on May 6,2026.

Investigators say following the events documented in the video circulating online, Ketcham was placed on administrative leave which has since ended but remains on restricted duty.

Calls for an investigation into Ketcham’s actions come after a cellphone video of the officer at one point standing on Miller’s back while he’s being handcuffed, and then after standing stomped on Miller and wrestled with him as Miller reportedly resisted arrest.

Following his arrest Miller was charged with allegedly strangling his elderly father, simple assault and striking a police officer and is currently being held at the Valley Street Jail.
