4 charged in New Hampshire as part of nationwide healthcare fraud probe

MANCHESTER, N.H.- Federal authorities say four people living and working in New Hampshire have been charged as part of a nationwide heatlhcare fraud prope.

According to the Department of Jusice Fructoso de Jesus Gomez Agudelo, 76, of Nashua, has been charged with wire fraud, for stealing another person’s identity, while both Kakha Bendeliani, 48, and Goga Danelia, 31 who are orginially from the country of Georgia, have been charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering by submitting fraudulent claims to Medicare. And Rima Gerges-Maalouf, 60, of Massachusetts,a pharmacusts working in New Hampshire has been charged with diverting perscription drugs and even cracking open drug capsules in order to steal the drugs inside.

Authorities say the people charged could have up to decades in in prison and very large fines.
