Shaheen assesses Flood Damage

US Senator Jeanne Shaheen toured Alton’s damaged roads from this month’s heavy rain yesterday. Work to repair all that damage is underway. New Hampshire Homeland Security and Emergency Management officials said they will be applying for federal money to afford those repairs. Senator Shaheen said seeing the damage firsthand of each individual county is important for her office to make sure communities are getting the appropriate resources.
