Selectmen in Meredith approve 9/11 Memorial the Central Fire Station

MEREDITH N.H.- Meredith’s Board of Selectmen have voted unanimously in favor of installing a 9/11 memorial on the grounds of the Central Fire Station.

Officials say the memorial is expected to cost between $40,000 and $50,000, is comprised of two black marble towers with glass embedded in them from Ground Zero, and benches.

The memorial will also feature an inscription reading; “On this 25th anniversary of 9-11-01 – this memorial is dedicated to the men and women who lost their lives on that fateful day.
