Police report 17 DWI arrests during Operation Granite Safe


CONCORD, NH – During a 3 month period this year various law enforcement agencies in New Hampshire partnered to conduct joint traffic enforcement initiatives in order to deter, detect, and remove impaired drivers from New Hampshire roads.

The primary focus of the enforcement took place on U.S. 202 and the I 89 corridor.  – During the operation there was a total of 651 traffic stops, resulting in 106 citations and 565 warnings. 17 drivers were arrested for driving under the influence, and an additional 19 individuals were arrested for other various violations.
