New Hampshire Lawmakers put a hold on a bill to require college students to pass civics test


CONCORD, NH

The New Hampshire Senate has temporarily tabled legislation which would mandate all public university and college students in the state to pass a civics test in order to graduate.

Critics of the bill argue that it would add costs at a time when public higher education in New Hampshire is still dealing with significant budget cuts.
