NASHUA, N.H.- Nashua Firefighters were called to overnight to an apartment fire at 92 West Hollis Street which saw Engines 4, 2, 6, Ladders 2, 1 and, Engine 3 all respond.
Authorities say Engine 4 arrived on the scene and reported smoke showing from a 2 1/2 story wood frame with fire in the rear of the building.
Hose lines were stretched to the attic and both ladder companies put their ladders to the roof. Crews searched the building in order make certain all residents were evacuated.
The fire was brought under control before 1a.m., several residents were displaced. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
