MANCHESTER, N.H, – A Mont Vernon woman has been fined for voting twice during this past spring’s town meeting.

Authorities say the unidentified woman used her own card and then also used her husband’s card.

Officials say she was fined $5,000 but will only have to pay $1,500 as along as she doesn’t violate any election laws for the next two years.

As for why authorities didn’t pursue criminal charges against the woman was because she cooperated with law enforcement
