MANCHESTER,N.H.- The man who says he was sexually abused during his time at the state’s former Youth Development Center took the stand Wednesday in the trial of his alleged abuser.

In his testimony David Meehan recalled numerous incidents in which he says he sexually assaulted as a teen by former counselor Stephen Murphy.

Murphy is facing eight counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault related to alleged incidents at the facility back in the 1990s.

Following his testimony Murphy’s attorneys called Meehan’s story inconsistent.

Meehan is scheduled to continue testifying Thursday.
