MANCHESTER, N.H. — The Manchester-Boston Regional Airport was placed on locked down for a short period of time Thursday.
Authorities say around midnight Police in New Boston contacted Londonderry Police about a possible threat at the airport, which said there could be an explosive device in a vehicle inside the parking garage.
As police were responding to assess the threat, new information came in indicating that the individual who made the threat may be armed with an AR-15, which lead to Police locking down the airport and searching the garage.
Following what was describe as a “thorough assessment” Police say they were unable to find any explosive devices and believed the threat was most likely a hoax.
Police were able to give the all clear, a little before 1:30 but say they’re still investigating the origin of the threat.
