Laconia man charged in his mother’s death

LACONIA, N.H.- Police have charged a man in connection with his mother’s death following an investigation that began Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say Christopher Garon, 32, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Linda Dionne.

According to police around 1:30 p.m. officers responded to a call at 52 Old Prescott Hill Road and once on scene discovered the body of Linda Dionne,58, and also note that her son Christoper Garon was inside the home as well.

Following his arrest Garon was ordered held without bail pending an arraignment.

At the moment police have yet to offer any details as to why Garon has been implicated in Dionne’s death or a cause; however, officials note that an autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday to determine an exact cause of death.
