Injured Hiker rescued from Gap Mountain


TROY, NH – Shortly before 4 yesterday afternoon (Sunday, March 29th)  NH Fish and Game Department, was notified of an injured hiker near Gap Mountain in Troy.

The hiker was identified as 42 year old Brett Gonzales, of Rindge, who was hiking back down the Mountain when he slipped on wet rocks and suffered a serious but non-life-threatening injury to his leg.

Members of the Troy Fire and Rescue Department arrived around 6PM. Gonzales was treated at the scene and transported to an area hospital
