MANCHESTER, N.H.- Police have charged a Hooksett man after they say he made threats against Gov. Kelly Ayotte.

According to court documents Tristan Anderson was arrested after police in Pembroke received a report in August from the ex-boyfriend of Anderson’s roommate who said Anderson would send his now ex-girlfriend messages over Snapchat in which Anderson allegedly said he would target Gov.Ayotte with a “weapon of mass destruction” and also made antisemitic comments about her role.

During their investigation Police say Anderson’s former roommate explained how he showed her a number of items including metal tubes along with nuts and bolts and fireworks he planned to turn into pipe bombs.

Following his arrest Anderson was charged with a felony and misdemeanor and was ordered held without bail as he is awaiting his next court appearance.
