One person from New Boston is dead after a crash on Route 125 in Epping yesterday. Epping police said crews responded to the Pondside Motel around 1 in the morning for a report of a head-on crash with serious injuries. Authorities say 31-year-old Amanda Wager was driving southbound when she crossed into the northbound lane and crashed into a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Jacob Wallingford of Rochester. Epping police said Wager was pronounced dead at the scene and Wallingford was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Epping police said they are investigating the crash. Officials said they are unsure if alcohol and speed were factors.
