Engagement Center to open in Manchester

Homeless advocates are hoping a new approach in Manchester will help ease the crisis in the city. A new engagement center will open next week at 39 Beech St. It’s an extension of the emergency shelter. Adrienne Beloin, Manchester Director of Housing Stability, telling News 9 the engagement center will be open seven days a week and will serve 80-100 people per day, giving them a bathroom, a shower, and a place to pick up mail, get clothing, and eat.
