Enfield woman charged with assaulting police officer

LEBANON N.H. –Authorities say Tanealle Carter,19, of Enfield is facing multiple charges, including assault on a Police officer following her arrest on Tuesday.

Around 8 p.m. Tuesday the Lebanon Police Department responded to a report of a female driver allegedly attempting to force another vehicle off the road in the area of Plainfield Road.

The victim reported that the motorist, later identified as Tanealle Carter, had been following him through Lebanon, driving recklessly, making threats, and attempting to run his vehicle off the roadway. The victim drove to the Lebanon Police Department while staying on the phone with dispatch, and Carter followed him into the Department parking lot.

Carter was arrested and charged with simple assault on a law enforcement officer, criminal threatening and criminal Mischief
