Dover man charged with abandoning two small dogs

MANCHESTER, N.H.- A Dover man is facing animal cruelty charges after authorities say he abandoned two small dogs in the woods back in August.

According to police Victor Gonzalez Triana, 49, was recently arrested after being identified as the owner of a miniature Pinscher and a Chihuahua which were found in a dirty kennel by a woman in the woods.

The dogs which are said to be in good health are currently in the care of the Pope Memorial Humane Society.

Following is arrest Gonzalez Triana was released and has an arraignment scheduled for October.
