The owners of Smuttynose and Harpoon beers say they’re planning a merger, to become the largest producer of Craft Beer in New England. On Tuesday the Hampton-based Finestkind Brewing announced its merging with Mass. Bay Brewing Co. to form Barrel One Collective. Barrel One Collective will begin operating a retail taproom at 215 Canal St. in downtown Manchester starting this spring.
