27 vehicles destroyed in Candia fire

A fire at a Candia vehicle salvage yard Saturday destroyed 28 vehicles and damaged 19 others. Candia Fire responded to 134 Raymond Road at 6:27 Saturday morning after receiving reports of a vehicle fire. Seventeen firefighters used approximately 15,000 gallons of water to extinguish the blaze, which affected 47 vehicles total at the salvage yard that stores several thousand vehicles. The cause is under investigation.
