A small plane crashed in Gilford Sunday night just before 9. The pilot was the only person on board and was not hurt. The Federal Aviation Administration said the left gear of the plane collapsed after it landed seriously damaging the aircraft.
On Saturday, authorities at Hampton Beach say a small plane towing a banner landed in the ocean about 30 yards from shore. The Hampton Police Chief told News 9 the pilot, who was the only person on board, was rescued by lifeguards and wasn’t hurt. The plane has since been pulled to shore. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.
