July 4th Fireworks and America 250 Celebrations

New Hampshire is celebrating its pivotal role in the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution, marking our status as the first colony to adopt an independent state constitution on January 5, 1776, in Exeter.

The Granite State was the first of the 13 colonies to form an independent government. The 250th celebration highlights New Hampshire’s motto “Live Free or Die,” reflecting our early commitment to independence.

Celebrations throughout New Hampshire are planned to commemorate not just the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, but the entire revolutionary period. Educational programs, re-enactments, and the display of the original 1776 constitution are some of the community events taking place. Visit Events | Discover and Promote Events — New Hampshire 250 for more information.

Here’s a list of Granite State fireworks, enjoy!
