Diamond Dig Contest Rules

These are the official Hot Hits Diamond Dig rules.  Hot Hits WZID HD 2 listeners 18 and over who have not won anything on Hot Hits WZID-HD2 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months can qualify to win a $2,500.00 diamond from Bellman Jewelers, with a total retail value of $2,500, by correctly answering at least one “Diamond Dig Riddle” at HotHitsNH.com. Submissions will be accepted on-line between Monday, January 26th at 12:00am and Thursday, February 5th at 11:59pm.  Each week day during the submission period, beginning Tuesday, January 27th, one correct riddle entry will be chosen from the previous day’s entries, by random drawing as an official “Diamond Dig” qualifier, and that person will win a $25.00 gift certificate to Shorty’s Mexican Roadhouse. Entry is limited to one entry per verified email address per day.   To participate, you must become a registered user through uPickem.  On Saturday, February 7th, all 9 “Diamond Dig” daily qualifiers must be present at McIntyre Ski Area between 10:00am and 11:00am to check in at the Hot Hits booth. Non-qualifiers can also register for a chance to be the 10th qualifier at McIntyre Ski Area during this time. At 11:00am on Saturday, February 7th, we’ll randomly choose a 10th qualifier from all entries received between 10:00-11:00am. Each of the 10 qualifiers will draw a random number. Each qualifier will then dig through a snow pile, one at a time in numerical order based on their drawn number, until they find a “jewelry box.” After all qualifiers have obtained a “jewelry box,” all participants will simultaneously open their box. The qualifier that holds the “jewelry box” containing a “fake diamond” will be considered the sole Grand Prize winner of a $2,500.00 diamond from Bellman Jewelers. No purchase necessary.  Employees of Hot Hits WZID HD 2, Manchester Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the Hot Hits WZID-HD 2 main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
